The Run for Joy clinic will give you inspiration and information to increase your level of skill and satisfaction of running. Find a sense of joy and purpose with your path, give yourself permission to excel, set positive and clear goals, and follow the process with enthusiasm. Come run with Lucy, an enthusiastic and motivated runner and coach, who is always ready to share the many stories and skills gained from her lifelong pursuit of athletic and personal excellence. -Biomechanical awareness through balance, breathing, and relaxation. -Develop expertise and positive habits. -Understand personally meaningful goals and priorities and the meaning of excellence -Overcome personal obstacles to success: anxiety, fear of failure, self-consciousness -Love the body you have. -Let yourself have fun, and a sense of play and freedom as an adult competitor -Time management and tips for integrating training into schedules

Come for a gentle run through the forest and village of Whistler led by elite runner and professional coach Lucy Smith. This run is intended as an easy aerobic run with some stretching and lots of breathing and smiles. Good general run fitness is necessary (all speeds included). As we go, Lucy will share insight and inspiration on running well, finding joy in the daily run, and posture and breathing for better running.

Run For Joy: One Hour Coached Run Workout
Limited Capacity seats available

60 Minute Fartlek Run workout Coach Lucy will lead your run workout of the day. We will do a gentle run warm up, some drills and strides to activate the body, and then do a Fartlek run (alternating fast and easy running), before cooling down and stretching it out. Good general run fitness is essential for this class but all speeds are welcome! Lucy will motivate, educate and coach you through the skills required for the session, sharing her passion and expertise for running and you will leave with some good habits to take with you. Lucy is an enthusiastic and motivated runner and coach, who is always ready to share the many stories and skills gained from her high performance career and lifelong pursuit of athletic and personal excellence.
