The hips are stable ball and socket joints that are kept healthy by maintaining full range of motion in all directions of movement. In this yin class we will melt into hip bliss by focusing a practice that will open the hips in flexion, extension, rotation, adduction and abduction, spending longer time in postures that work with common areas of restriction. Freeing the hip joints enables greater health of the spine and can help strengthen the core and lower limbs.
