Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Standing poses are some of the more complex yet beneficial poses for students of all levels. They are the building blocks from which all other groups of poses such as backbends, inversions, twists, hip openers, and forward bends can be built upon. Simply put, standing poses are the heart of a yoga practice. Paramount to a healthy, strong asana practice, they are also basic tools for teaching safe and informative classes. We'll focus on the science of "looking," the art of "seeing," and the means to improve the pose including physical adjustment. We will cover a range of standing poses and as tools for all other poses.

This is a partner oriented workshop geared towards teachers who wish to improve their teaching skills and for serious students who want to take their practice to the next level of understanding.

Mostly asana. Some discussion.
